Statement Of Faith
Tulsa Hills Youth Ranch is a faith-based organization. While the ranch is not associated exclusively with a particular denomination, the origin and operation of the ranch is compelled by Judeo-Christian values and the story from which they originate.
The Founders, Board of Directors and staff of Tulsa Hills Youth Ranch believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God as testified of in the witness of the prophets and Gospel accounts in the scriptures of the Christian Bible.
By Gospel we mean this good news: that we are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted by God the Father than we ever dared hope. Additionally, that God does so in bringing his kingly reign to bear on the earth.
We believe that Christ came to bring this good news to reality on earth through his perfect life, sacrificial death, resurrection, and promised return to make all things new. Through such action and by his Spirit, he liberates, commissions, and empowers his redeemed followers to participate in his mission of bringing foretastes of this newness to a suffering humanity and earth.
We believe that our faith is best demonstrated by humble and active love for our fellow man with a heart of gratitude for the grace and mercy we have been given. Thus, it is our highest honor to serve children and families of all backgrounds with this same unconditional grace so freely given to us.
It is this faith which guides the structure to all of our programs and training.
